Stokerij De Molenberg is a Belgian craft distillery located in Blaasveld, housed in a 17th-century family farm and distillery with over 75 years of rich history. The distillery represents a fusion of deep-rooted local heritage and modern artisan distilling, making it one of the most distinctive whisky producers in Belgium. Its long-standing connection to traditional craftsmanship gives it a unique character within the European craft spirits landscape. De Molenberg is perhaps best known for its collaboration with Het Anker brewery, producing a refined single malt whisky based on the mash bill of the iconic Gouden Carolus Tripel beer. This approach — using a celebrated Belgian beer recipe as the foundation for whisky — defines the distillery's creative and locally inspired philosophy. The portfolio includes expressions finished in a variety of casks, such as ex-Barbados rum casks and Jerez sherry casks, reflecting a willingness to experiment with different maturation profiles. The distillery has gained international recognition, with its 3rd Anniversary Edition – Sola Jerez earning a medal at the prestigious International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) in 2017.
