Stokerij De Molenberg carries a family legacy stretching back to 1637, when the Van Breedam millers ground grain and distilled genever at their farm in Blaasveld. When the Gouden Carolus brewery — a celebrated Belgian beer brand for decades — launched whisky production in 2014, it joined this rooted tradition. Muscad'Or was created as a limited release marking the distillery's fourth anniversary, a milestone for this young Belgian producer.

The whisky matured for 33 months in bourbon casks, followed by 10 months finishing in Muscat wine casks — an unconventional choice that shapes its golden hue and distinctive character. The result is soft and floral, with aromas of apricot, nectarine, and ripe stone fruit, layered with herbal and peppery notes on the finish.
