Cinnamon Whisky
Old No. 7 is the face of Jack Daniel's, a name rooted in 1866 when young Jasper Newton Daniel's distillery received government registration number 7. Daniel learned his craft in the 1850s from Nathan 'Nearest' Green, a freedman whose distilling knowledge shaped the whiskey — a vital chapter in the brand's history long overlooked.
The sour mash is built from 80% corn, 12% malted barley, and 8% rye, mixed with water from Cave Spring Hollow, then filtered through sugar maple charcoal — the Lincoln County Process that defines Tennessee whiskey. This treatment yields a smooth, approachable spirit at 40% ABV.
