Town Branch Distillery, the 7th member of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail®, finally releases its long-awaited wheated bourbon: Town Branch 6-Year Wheated Kentucky Straight Bourbon. After years of careful preparation, this expression debuts at 99 proof (49.5% ABV), marking a significant milestone for the Lexington-based distillery.

This wheated bourbon was aged in new American white oak barrels with a #4 char level. The wait was strategic: although the whisky reached six years old, Head Distiller Dave Bob Gaspar's team deliberately waited several additional years before releasing it as a standalone expression. This approach provided greater flexibility in building a complete range across multiple ages. The non-chill-filtered bottling preserves all the natural characteristics of the wheated mash bill.

The nose reveals dried fruit, caramel, honey, and pineapple. The palate showcases caramel, toffee, and oak, complemented by red apple notes. The finish delivers a pleasant combination of caramel, oak, and tobacco.
