Sturm Single Malt – Whisky with Purpose

Cley Distillery in Rotterdam introduces Sturm, a Limited Edition Single Malt Whisky with a meaningful mission. This 3-year-old expression was specially created in collaboration with Kiwanis Zierikzee Schouwen-Duiveland, an international service club dedicated to children's welfare. From each bottle sold, €20 goes to Sophia Children's Hospital to support research into congenital heart disease.

Sturm is bottled in 500 individually numbered 500ml bottles at 48% ABV. This whisky is crafted from 100% malted barley sourced from The Swaen maltster and triple-distilled in a copper kettle following traditional Dutch methods. After three years maturing in ex-bourbon casks, it undergoes a second maturation in virgin American oak, adding complexity and depth to the final spirit.

On the nose, this whisky reveals dried fruit, vanilla, and oak. The palate delivers citrus, caramel, and toffee notes, with a finish echoing vanilla, toffee, and oak. Bottled at cask strength for maximum intensity and character.
