Daddy Rack is a Tennessee whiskey brand with a personal story at its heart. The brand was founded by James Arthur Rackham, who was born above his father's liquor store — a fitting origin for someone who would go on to craft his own whiskey. The name "Daddy Rack" is a tribute to James Arthur himself, derived from the nickname his daughter gave him. With roots deeply embedded in Tennessee tradition, Daddy Rack represents a passion for handcrafted American whiskey. Daddy Rack is handcrafted in small batches using high-quality corn sourced from local farmers. The mash bill consists of 80% corn, 10% rye, and 10% malted barley, with sour mash used in the production process. The whiskey is aged for three years in lightly toasted and charred virgin American oak barrels, resulting in a spirit with aromas of maple, honey, and oak spice. The portfolio includes the core Tennessee Straight Whiskey at 40% ABV, as well as a more exclusive Single Barrel Cask Strength expression, which launched as the brand's first-ever allocated release in late 2021.
