This 12-year-old Special Release from Speyside offers an inviting and fruit-forward character with a distinctly sweet profile. Matured in bourbon casks, it showcases warm vanilla and caramel notes that form the foundation of this approachable dram. The nose presents a vibrant array of stone fruits—apricot, peach, and ripe banana—intertwined with honey, vanilla, and bright citric accents. On the palate, sweet pears and apples emerge alongside honeyed notes and vanilla cake, with a full-bodied mouthfeel. The finish is medium-length and satisfying, with lingering sweet fruits and gentle wood spice that brings balance to this well-rounded whisky.
