About
Nectarosity takes its name from a neologism coined by Compass Box to capture an abundance of flavour. Launched as part of the brand's new core lineup, it replaced earlier expressions and brings together Highland malts (Clynelish, Balmenach, Linkwood) and Lowland grains (Girvan, Cameronbridge). Most of the blend matures in bourbon casks, while Linkwood contributes depth from sherry or sherry-seasoned wood. The nose opens with honey, poached pears, nectarine and lychee. On the palate, tropical fruit — apricot and pineapple — gives way to toffee, vanilla and toasted oak sweetness, with ginger and white pepper adding complexity and a subtle bite. The blend balances grain and malt without either overwhelming the other, creating a richer, denser character than its sibling Orchard House. Nectarosity performs equally well in classic cocktails and simple serves. A dry pilsner amplifies the fruity caramel core.
