Venakki Distillery, founded in 2012 by Jay Venakki, rejected convention from the start. The Portuguese Small Batch Blended Whisky embodies that defiance: a blend where Portuguese terroir and wine casks take centre stage. This is not a Scotch blend with Portuguese flourishes, but the reverse — a whisky shaped by the rare casks that once held fine wine.

Small batches mature in wine casks, giving this blend a distinctive sweet, spicy character. At 48% ABV, the whisky speaks plainly, without cask-strength harshness but with full expression of its components.
