Dràm Mòr sources young, smoky island malts from Torabhaig's maturing casks and bottles them uncompromisingly. This 2018 vintage, seven years in first-fill bourbon, is 56.7% ABV — no chill-filtration, no apology.

The nose is thick and fatty peat: iodine and seaweed, then citrus peel cutting through. The palate surprises with more sweetness than the nose suggests, delivering savoury meat notes and a hint of aniseed. New oak brings pepper and spice that slightly jar against the malt's freshness, but the smoky backbone — leather, damp earth, heavily peated barley — dominates and holds.
