Noble Rebel is a blended malt Scotch whisky launched by the Loch Lomond Group in February 2023. The brand emerged from a collaboration between master blender Michael Henry and the team behind the group's award-winning single malts, with a philosophy centred on flavour exploration. Each expression in the initial range — Orchard Outburst, Smoke Symphony, and Hazelnut Harmony — carries a bespoke illustration that signals its aroma and taste direction. Bottled at 46% ABV, naturally coloured and non-chill filtered, this blended malt reflects the preferences of serious malt enthusiasts. The blend draws on malts from multiple distilleries within the Loch Lomond network, matured in bourbon casks and finished in various wood types depending on the expression. The range showcases different flavour directions: Orchard Outburst leans toward orchard fruit, honey and vanilla; Hazelnut Harmony emphasises toasted oak and nutty character; Smoke Symphony introduces peat and smoke. Each is crafted to explore a distinct taste territory while maintaining the approachability and balance that defines good blended malt.
