Bunnahabhain
12 Year Old Cask Strength

About
The Auld Alliance takes its name from the historic 1295 alliance between France and Scotland — a fitting choice for founder Emmanuel Dron, who launched the bar and independent bottling company in Singapore in 2010 to bridge his French heritage with his passion for rare Scotch whisky. This 17-year-old Lowland grain whisky embodies the region's characteristic lightness and citric freshness. Yet at this age, it has acquired an unusual perfumed sweetness and lemon character that transcends the typical grain whisky profile. The nose reveals golden syrup on brown toast, with notes of wax and chalk. The palate brings forward fruity impressions—apricot and apple—alongside subtle smoke, pepper, and beeswax. The finish lingers long, with citrus and cinnamon-tinged oak.
