About
The Keepers Dram is an 8-year-old blended Scotch whisky bottled at cask strength (52.8% ABV). Its name honours the Keepers of the Quaich, a prestigious society within Scotch whisky that traces its roots to 1494, when Friar John Cor distilled aqua vitae for King James IV at Lindores Abbey. Membership in this society is regarded as a form of 'Scotch whisky knighthood'. This blended malt draws from multiple Scottish distilleries, unified through careful selection and maturation. Eight years in cask has allowed the spirit to develop character and depth without excessive wood dominance. The cask strength presentation delivers full flavour intensity and mouthfeel. In the glass, the whisky shows a clear, amber hue. The nose is fresh and clean, with honeyed sweetness and subtle complexity. The palate opens with bright fruit — apple and pear — supported by gentle spice and a silky texture. The finish is warm and lingering, with a pleasant dryness that frames the overall character.
