Doble V is a blended Scotch whisky produced by Hiram Walker, the company founded in 1858 by American entrepreneur Hiram Walker in Windsor, Ontario. While Hiram Walker is today best known for Canadian whiskies, the company also produces blended Scotch whiskies for international markets, including this Spanish variant. This blend combines grain and malt whiskies aged for at least three years in oak casks. At 40% ABV, it is an approachable, lightly profiled blended whisky without extreme character traits. In the glass, Doble V displays a golden hue. The nose offers fruity notes with subtle peaty undertones and hints of vanilla. On the palate, a light, slightly sweet impression emerges with fruity elements that carry through the mouth. The finish is smooth and pleasant, without much complexity but with an agreeable, soft texture.
