About

The Whisky Agency and East Village Whisky Company marked their shared anniversary in 2025 with a limited release of just 36 bottles. This Glen Keith, distilled in 1993, exemplifies why the distillery excels only after two decades of maturation. Thirty-two years in a barrel created a whisky that feels like a celebration of partnership between two founders of the same age. The nose unfolds slowly but seductively: tropical fruit—pineapple and mango, white peach and pear—with a delicate elderflower whisper. Beneath the fruity surface lie subtle waxy and clay notes that anchor the whisky in texture and depth. On the palate, full fruit sweetness emerges with an eau-de-vie-like astringency that cuts through. Peaches and papayas, followed by caramel malt and honey, with linseed oil and white pepper spice. The finish runs long: peppery oak mingles with grassy green tea and abundant orchard fruit. This is a sharper, more layered Glen Keith than typical. At 52% ABV, it drinks with enough structure to reveal its age and character without brute spirit.
