This 2008 distillate represents a rare single-grain bottling from a distillery whose output has historically been absorbed into major blends. North British's recipe uses maize and malted barley in an 85:15 ratio, creating a light, approachable spirit. At 13 years, this single grain showcases the refined character of Lowland grain whisky: soft and accessible, remarkably free of the alcohol bite or cereal harshness that can mark younger examples.
