Sweet Peat from Coleburn's Local Heros collection is a refined blended malt offering a gentle introduction to smoky whisky. This Speyside expression strikes an elegant balance between indulgent sweetness and aromatic smoke. The nose opens with traditional confectionery shop notes, plums and caramel, backed by subtly earthy smoke and a whisper of incense. On the palate, fudge, honey and cake-like sweetness build alongside marshmallow and floral incense, with bonfire-like smoke adding depth.
