Knockando's 16-year-old Speyside single malt is an elegant and refined whisky that captures the region's characteristic smoothness with remarkable finesse. Matured in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead, this expression gains a rich, dark complexity that beautifully complements the distillery's naturally fruity character. The result is a well-balanced dram with multiple layers of sophistication. On the nose, rose petals, white chocolate, and muscat-like notes emerge gracefully. The palate reveals dark berries and coffee notes, complemented by roasted almonds, caramel, and creamy toffee. Spiced orange peel and milk chocolate add further depth and intrigue.
