About

Kilkerran's Peat in Progress is a bold, youthful peated single malt from Campbeltown that masterfully balances intense peat character with pure spirit. This cask strength expression showcases rich, earthy peat smoke with a mineral edge reminiscent of coastal cliffs and summer rain on stone. The oily mouthfeel and full body create an impressive dram that feels remarkably integrated despite its high alcohol content. On the nose, young grain and citrus notes emerge alongside subtle vanilla, supported by delicate peat smoke. The palate reveals earthy, herbal character with hints of honey and sweet spices, while the oily texture provides excellent mouthfeel. The finish lingers long with persistent peat and mineral notes that fade gracefully, leaving a satisfying warmth.
