About
The Tormore 2003 Legacy Casks #647 is a distinguished single malt from Speyside, Scotland's picturesque whisky heartland. Distilled in May 2003 and matured for over two decades in a first fill Bourbon barrel, this expression captures the essence of Tormore's celebrated craftsmanship. Bottled in March 2025 by Elixir Distillers at natural colour with no chill filtration, this limited release comprises just 226 bottles. On the nose, rich and fruity aromas emerge—white grape juice, lemon, peach, melon, and fresh unroasted nuts, complemented by subtle oak and floral notes. The palate delivers a full, refined character with poached pears, creamy vanilla pudding, lemon cream, and sweet oak, balanced by gentle spice. The finish is long, fruity, and harmonious, showcasing Tormore's light, elegant Speyside style with an impressive complexity that rewards patient exploration.
