Monologue is a rare 26-year-old single grain whisky from the Highlands, produced by Invergordon. This grain whisky is celebrated for its subtle elegance and refined character. After more than two decades of maturation, this expression has developed a complex, mature profile with a pleasing balance between grain and oak. The nose reveals notes of hay, grain, and soft wood, with hints of toffee and dried spices. On the palate, warm, spicy flavours emerge—cinnamon, nutmeg, and a touch of pepper—interspersed with sweet caramel notes and roasted qualities. The finish is warm and lingering, with persistent oak and spice notes that gradually fade.
