Eastmoor's Single Sherry Cask is a Dutch single malt that has matured for four years in an oloroso sherry cask, resulting in a rich and full-bodied expression. This Overijssel whisky combines Eastmoor's characteristic malty foundation with the warm, fruity influences of sherry wood maturation. The result is an approachable yet complex dram that showcases the ambitions of Dutch distilling. On the nose, fruity and malty notes emerge, complemented by hints of banana and coconut. The palate reveals a silky mouthfeel with notes of almond paste, toffee, and crème caramel, supported by a subtle white pepper spice. The finish is warm and pleasant, with lingering notes of honey and vanilla that gradually fade.
