This 7-year-old bourbon cask bottling from independent bottler Chorlton Whisky showcases the distillery's growing quality. Produced on the Morvern peninsula on Scotland's west coast, Nc'nean uses 100% Scottish barley and prioritises sustainability. The nose reveals apple, fresh croissants, caramel and warm butter, complemented by honey, vanilla and sultanas. On the palate, white pepper, salt and lime emerge, with green apple and citrus in the background. The finish is medium-length with white pepper, red apple and sweet notes, rounded out by salt and sour elements. This is a mature bottling that proves Nc'nean achieves excellent results with bourbon cask maturation.
