The Daftmill 2012 Winter Batch Release is an elegant Lowland single malt from one of Scotland's smallest and most artisanal farm distilleries. This limited seasonal release combines seven first fill ex-bourbon casks with five oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, yielding just 3,475 bottles worldwide. Bottled at 46% ABV, this whisky allows the distillery's pure character to shine through without compromise. The nose reveals an enticing blend of red fruit, vanilla, caramel, and honey, complemented by hazelnut and almond notes. The palate delivers a full, silky texture with candy-like fruit flavours, citrus juice, and caramelised pineapple.
