The Hearach Oloroso from Isle of Harris is a refined single malt that brings together the craftsmanship of two continents. Matured in first-fill Oloroso casks from Jerez, this whisky develops a rich and complex character reflecting the maritime influences of the Hebrides. With subtle peat smoke woven throughout, it strikes an elegant balance between Spanish sherry maturation and Scottish island heritage. The nose reveals layers of dried citrus, walnuts, and warming spices characteristic of ex-Oloroso oak. On the palate, the whisky is oily and velvety, with notes of cinnamon, charcoal, and subtle herbal undertones. The finish is long and balsamic, lingering with licorice, red fruits, and a whisper of fireside smoke.
