The Open Course Collection 2026 19 Year Old

American OakFinish: Moscatel Cask

About

This exceptional 19-year-old single malt from Loch Lomond has been matured in American oak and finished in Tawny Port casks for six months. The distillery's signature Straight Neck Stills create a distinctive character defined by fruit, honey and soft smoke. Released as a limited edition celebrating The Open Championship 2026 at Royal Birkdale, this whisky showcases the craftsmanship and heritage that define Loch Lomond's house style. On the nose, expect dried fruits, raisins and warming spice, complemented by vanilla and light malt notes. The palate reveals rich red berries and sweet spice, with a balanced complexity that bridges the whisky's American oak maturation and Port cask finishing. The finish delivers lingering warmth and gentle spice, leaving a satisfying and elegant conclusion.
