Ben Nevis Peat Wave is a bold and experimental single malt from the Scottish Highlands, matured in a First Fill Merlot Wine Barrique. This young, heavily peated whisky showcases intense smoky character combined with fruity and metallic notes that reflect its full cask strength of 60.6% ABV. The nose reveals sharp, dirty smoke with underlying strawberry and tropical fruit complexity, while the palate delivers a powerful array of black pepper, ginger and dark fruit influences from the wine cask maturation. The finish remains long and dry, with persistent smoky and spice-driven characteristics.
