About
Glen Scotia is one of Scotland's smallest distilleries, situated in the historic whisky-producing region of Campbeltown on the Kintyre Peninsula. This 11-year-old single malt embodies the distinctive character of its region: spiced, fruity, and touched with maritime salinity. After a decade maturing in American oak by Campbeltown harbour, this whisky was finished in white Port casks for added complexity and depth. The nose reveals warming notes of stone fruit, lemongrass, and clove, with a prominent honey sweetness layered beneath peppermint and spicy undertones. The palate delivers chocolate and vanilla fudge, though the Port influence remains subtle and well-integrated. The finish is elegant, with the signature Campbeltown smoke and briny character providing a memorable, mineral-driven conclusion.
