Kingsbarns 10 Year Old is an elegant Lowland single malt that showcases the refined character of its Fife heritage. This inaugural ten-year-old expression from Kingsbarns Distillery was matured predominantly in American oak with a red wine cask finish, creating a sophisticated and complex whisky with a naturally light toffee hue. Non-chill filtered and bottled at 46% ABV, this dram delivers an excellent balance between subtlety and depth. The nose presents elegant floral notes with summer blossom, ripe stone fruit including banana and citrus, complemented by vanilla and honey undertones. On the palate, soft fruit flavours emerge alongside pronounced honey notes, light oak spice, and a clean malty foundation. The finish opens with distinctive honey impressions that gradually transition into lingering fruit notes, offering a graceful and well-rounded conclusion that rewards contemplation.
