Wolfburn Drams on the Burn represents the craftsmanship of Scotland's most northerly mainland distillery, located in Caithness. This single malt showcases a distinctive balance of fruity and malty sweetness, complemented by subtle hints of spice and oak that create a harmonious and approachable dram. The 46% ABV provides plenty of character and complexity. The nose reveals attractive notes of wild peaches and hibiscus tea, with a faint malty foundation beneath. The palate is dominated by sweet and nutty flavors, accented by pleasant smoke and hints of honey. The finish is pleasantly balanced, with persistent notes of oak and spice delivering a satisfying conclusion.
