This whisky's character is shaped by the maritime influence of its location on the Sound of Islay, combined with rich sherried notes and a vibrant spirit. The result is a complex, mature dram that exemplifies authentic Bunnahabhain character. The nose reveals dried fruit, caramel and soft vanilla, complemented by maritime salt influences and subtle wood notes. The palate delivers a creamy, smooth texture with hints of nuts and gentle spice, while coastal sea salt notes emerge.
