Wolfburn's Kylver Series No. 10 is a pure Highland single malt from Scotland's far north, named after a celebrated Viking burial stone bearing one of the earliest examples of runic alphabet. This bottling marks a significant milestone as the distillery's first age-statement release. Ten years of maturation in a combination of first-fill and refill sherry casks creates a refined, well-balanced whisky with a luxurious, creamy mouthfeel and distinctive character. On the nose, hazelnut and caramel notes blend with buttery sweetness and hints of citrus. The palate reveals apple, orange, and watermelon alongside light malt and subtle herbal spice, delivering medium weight and approachability. The finish is clean and dry, with lingering notes of hazelnut and malt. This is a classic, accessible Highland that honors the Viking heritage surrounding the distillery.
