Mannochmore is one of Scotland's most recently established distilleries, founded in 1971 in Speyside. This 2011 PDnl is a youthful yet sophisticated expression that demonstrates remarkable complexity despite its three years of maturation. The whisky strikes an impressive balance between sweet, fruity character and warming spice. The nose reveals a smooth, malty foundation with sweet winey notes, red grapes, dark berries, and delicate floral hints. On the palate, the whisky is full and juicy, delivering nutmeg, cinnamon, and subtle walnut, complemented by sherried dried fruit and gripping wood spice.
