This cask strength release captures the character of Bunnahabhain with a fruity, approachable profile enhanced by thoughtful cask finishing. Free from smoke, it allows a sweet, nutty core to shine through elegantly. The nose reveals caramelised fruit, honey-roasted hazelnuts, and warming spice notes. On the palate, waves of vanilla and toffee emerge, complemented by dried figs and poached pears, with a subtle peppery spice. The finish is indulgently long and sweet, with oak and dried spice notes creating a satisfying, warming conclusion that lingers pleasantly.
