This bottling offers a glimpse of the distillery's ambitions: a peated single malt with distinctive character and punch. At 63.5% ABV, this new make spirit delivers an intense, unpolished profile that showcases the raw power of the distillery's production methods. The nose reveals fresh pear and apple notes alongside sweet peated malt, with subtle undertones of heather and a hint of vegetal earthiness. On the palate, an oily, buttery texture unfolds with balanced sweetness from honey and heather, complemented by peppery spice and warming ginger notes. The finish remains peaty and peppery, with a hot, lingering conclusion that emphasises the spirit's youthful vigour and intensity.
