Oban Bay Reserve - The Night's Watch is a full-bodied, complex Single Malt from Scotland's Highlands, inspired by the legendary Game of Thrones series. Sitting at the foot of a steep cliff overlooking the bay, Oban Distillery captures the rugged character of Castle Black in this distinguished expression. The whisky's soft, creamy texture delivers gentle fruit aromas with notes of plum, apricot, and honey, alongside intriguing savoury and salty undertones. On the palate, dark berry and chocolate notes emerge, complemented by toffee and oak influences, with a distinctive smoky character building towards the finish. The medium-length finish carries lingering smoke and burnt notes, reminiscent of a slow-burning campfire. This is a whisky of remarkable balance—sweet, savoury, and smoky in equal measure, rewarding both contemplative sipping and pairing with hearty evening fare.
