Eaglesburn 2016 is a young Dutch single malt whisky from the newly established distillery in Arnhem, matured in virgin oak. This ambitious project showcases a distillery committed to complete control — from malting their own barley sourced from the Netherlands and Belgium to bottling. The spirit's character is distinctly shaped by the fresh oak, creating an intense and spicy profile. The nose reveals intense pepper, cinnamon and vanilla with subtle floral notes. The palate is considerably less fruity, offering a spice festival featuring bay leaf, aniseed and nutmeg.
