About
This classic Orkney single malt, bottled by Douglas Laing under the Old Particular range, represents a well-balanced and fruity expression. The 2007 vintage opens with inviting aromas of honey, grass, and spice, complemented by restrained peat and bright citrus notes. On the palate, vibrant citrus fruits take centre stage, alongside hints of cacao, pepper, and malt character that builds on the creamy nose. The finish is notably long and satisfying, revealing layers of honey sweetness, lemon barley water, and subtle oatmeal with a delicate peppery edge.
