InchDairnie's 2017 RyeLaw is an innovative single grain Scotch from the Lowlands, crafted by a modern distillery that merges traditional heritage with experimental vision. Matured in virgin oak, this whisky showcases a distinctive rye-forward character, delivering a complex profile layered with spice, floral notes, and citrus complexity. The nose reveals delicate floral and honeyed aromas with appley fruitiness and subtle rose peeking through. On the palate, a textured, peppery spice develops alongside herbal nuances, with hints of orange and citrus rind complementing a buttery sweetness. The finish is viscous and warming, with lingering peppery spice, vanilla, and toffee creating a long, satisfying conclusion.
