About
This 2007 Orkney single malt, bottled by Campbeltown Whisky Company Ltd, is a full-bodied and complex whisky matured for 14 years in ex-sherry hogsheads. At 54% ABV, this dram delivers a rich and layered flavour profile shaped by its sherried maturation. On the nose, you'll discover smoke, maritime and minerally notes alongside forest fruits, particularly blueberries. The palate reveals dried fruits—prunes, dates, and raisins—complemented by chocolate, tobacco, and a fragrant hint of cognac rancio with strawberry jam undertones. The finish is lengthy, citrusy, salty, and herbal, though some bitter oak and dark chocolate notes may emerge as the whisky opens up.
