The GlenAllachie 2007 SV is a robust single malt from Speyside, bottled by Signatory Vintage at cask strength. This 15-year-old expression, matured in a first-fill sherry butt, delivers a rich and full-bodied whisky that beautifully balances GlenAllachie's signature delicate fruitiness with warm sherry influence. The nose reveals generous vanilla, brown sugar and cake notes, supported by dried fruits such as sultanas and raisins. On the palate, the wood becomes more prominent, presenting a thick, creamy mouthfeel with toffee, caramel and warming spice. The finish is wonderfully malty and honeyed, lingering with pleasant oak character and subtle warming spice.
