Secret Speyside 2007 TCaH is a rich and complex single malt matured entirely in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads, showcasing the depth that comes from full sherry cask aging. At 15 years of age, this Speyside expression has developed excellent balance, where the wood and spirit integrate seamlessly without either dominating. The result is a sophisticated, well-rounded whisky with impressive maturity and character. The nose presents abundant dark fruit, chocolate truffles and raisins, alongside hazelnut and candied citrus peel. On the palate, spicy notes emerge—black pepper and nutmeg—intertwined with liquorice and toffee, while the concentrated mouthfeel reveals layers of roasted grain and oak. The finish is long and warming, with lingering chocolate, spice and woody notes that fade gracefully.
