About
This 1993 Longmorn is a refined Speyside single malt, bottled by The Scotch Malt Whisky Society under their selection number 7.218. After 25 years of maturation in a refill ex-bourbon hogshead, this whisky has achieved impressive complexity and maturity. Longmorn's elegant character shines through: sophisticated, rich, and beautifully balanced. The nose reveals layers of golden honey, vanilla, and coconut, complemented by subtle oak and citrus notes. The palate is juicy and multifaceted, with deep caramel flavors and a warm, full-bodied presence. The finish is lengthy and rewarding, with lingering vanilla and woody elements that fade gracefully. A whisky that rewards contemplation and appeals to serious collectors.
