Seven Sons Spirit of Brazil Single Malt Scotch Whisky 1998 28y
About
This exceptional 28-year-old Highland Single Malt was distilled in 1998 and personally selected by Master Blender John Ramsay for 8 Doors Distillery's Seven Sons collection. A remarkable bottling steeped in history, distilled in the same year Scotland last faced Brazil in a FIFA World Cup match. This whisky celebrates the shared heritage and craftsmanship of two proud nations. The nose reveals sweet, overripe fruit notes with subtle smoky undertones, complemented by floral beeswax and hay. On the palate, complex malt grain emerges alongside saline minerality and delicate florals, with light citrus and walnut adding sophistication. Soft yet bitter oak spice provides structure and balance. The finish is medium to long with a pleasant drying quality that lingers gracefully. Best enjoyed with a touch of water to unlock its full complexity. A fitting tribute to two cultures united by craft, heritage, and sporting history.
