Twentse Lef's Single Malt Treewood is a Dutch single malt whisky with character and ambition. This whisky matures in Twente on American oak casks, followed by a finish in Oloroso sherry cask. The result is a robust and full-bodied whisky that combines Dutch craftsmanship with traditional Scottish distilling techniques. In the glass, the Treewood unfolds with aromas of apricot, plums, and liquorice, complemented by subtle oak notes. On the palate, the whisky is firm and full-bodied, with the same fruity character developing further. The finish is warm and persistent, with a pleasant balance between the American oak maturation and the Spanish sherry cask finish.
