About
This exceptional 33-year-old Glen Scotia represents the pinnacle of patience and craftsmanship. Distilled in 1991, this Campbeltown single malt spent two decades maturing in American oak ex-bourbon hogsheads before being transferred in 2011 to a rare French Vosne-Romanée red wine cask from Burgundy. This dual maturation journey has created a complex and charismatic spirit that only time can weave. The nose reveals intense aromas of baked plum and fruity tamarind spice, beautifully paired with cherries, dark chocolate and subtle cigar notes. The robust and complex palate delivers rich, herbaceous wild berries alongside juicy raisins and salted caramel. The finish is spectacular: ripe berries, nutmeg, brown sugar and dried stone fruits create an extended, memorable conclusion that lingers with sophistication.
