About
Ledaig is the smoky expression of Tobermory Distillery on the Scottish Isle of Mull. This 10-year-old single malt strikes a compelling balance between peat smoke and subtle sweetness, making it an excellent choice for those seeking modestly peated Scotch whisky. The whisky's character is shaped by its phenolic nature and the maritime influences of the Hebridean landscape. The nose and palate reveal a complex interplay of flavours: sooty smoke with hints of smoked fish, bright lemon and honey. The mouthfeel is pleasantly oily and velvety, with notes of red pepper, liquorice and earthy minerals. The finish brings ash, medicinal peat and a briny quality, rounded out by creamy sweetness and lingering spice.
