About

Rhythm and Booze Records #4 is a distinctive blended Scotch whisky born from an artistic collaboration between indie bottler Cask Le Sens and Edinburgh-based singer-songwriter Nicole Cassandra Smit. The whisky's character was directly inspired by Smit's music: initially sweet and approachable, yet revealing surprising depth and playful complexity the longer you sit with it. The blend features a significant portion of 35-year-old Invergordon grain whisky, contributing creamy, buttery richness at its heart, complemented by malts from Speyside and the Highlands that provide structural integrity and fruity character. On the nose, fruity and sweet notes emerge, followed by an impressive palate displaying caramel and vanilla tones. The finish offers a pleasant interplay of fruitiness and subtle sweetness, with lingering warmth. This is more than whisky alone—each bottle includes exclusive original songs by Nicole Cassandra Smit, accessible via QR code on the back label. A perfect pairing for those who appreciate well-crafted spirits enjoyed alongside authentic, intimate music.
