The GlenAllachie Sinteis Part III is a masterful 11-year-old single malt from the Speyside region of Scotland. As part of the Sinteis series, this expression is expertly matured in a combination of French Limousin virgin oak and Oloroso sherry casks. This unique maturation process imparts a richly layered character that showcases both the traditional and innovative sides of GlenAllachie's craftsmanship. On the nose, the whisky reveals aromas of orange zest, nutmeg, and dried orchard fruits, complemented by honeycomb and maraschino cherries. The palate offers notes of heather honey and spiced orange, along with hints of mocha and crystallized brown sugar. Bottled at a robust 57.4% ABV, this whisky is perfect as the finale to an evening, ideally paired with a piece of dark chocolate to highlight its rich flavors.
