About
Track 06 – All My Life takes its name from the Foo Fighters' 2002 anthem, a deliberate choice by Turntable Spirits that reflects their philosophy: whisky, like music, belongs to moments and moods. The blend draws from five distilleries—GlenAllachie (21%, matured in ex-Woodford bourbon casks), Balblair (14%, Limousin oak), BenRiach, Knockdhu, and North British grain whisky. Turntable consistently includes grain in their recipes because they believe it adds a necessary dimension to the blend. On the nose: apple crumble with vanilla pastry cream, fresh apples, and caramel emerging with time. The palate is medium-light bodied with a slight upfront bitterness; orchard fruits return with an underripe edge, while cinnamon and cocoa weave through. The finish is medium length, marked by cocoa and a dry fade where oak becomes audible. This is not a bombastic dram. Instead, it's a measured composition that pursues balance between fruit, sweetness, and wood. The blend rewards attention with texture and detail—a soundtrack to quiet moments rather than anthems.
